Lawrence S. Carter

Founder & Senior Managing Director

Mr. Carter has over 25 years of investment banking experience covering a broad range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising and providing strategic and financial advice. Mr. Carter has significant experience advising clients in the healthcare industry, including large publicly-traded and privately- owned companies in over 100 transactions. Prior to founding Panthera Global, Mr. Carter was a principal at Healthcare Management Associates, a management consulting firm specializing in practice management, hospital strategic planning, physician recruitment and practice acquisitions for hospitals. Mr. Carter has also worked extensively in the healthcare executive recruiting industry.

Mr. Carter served and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. He started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. after completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Southern California.

Stephen J. D’Elia, CM&AA, CMAP, MBA

Mr. D’Elia has a broad range of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions experience including exclusive sale transactions, acquisitions, financings, strategic advisory services, financial restructurings and fairness opinions primarily for middle market companies. Mr. D’Elia helps manage the various phases of a deal from inception to closing. Prior to joining Panthera, he was a portfolio risk manager in the Mid-Risk Management Group for First Data Corporation. Before First Data, Mr. D’Elia was a credit analyst in the middle market lending group at Atlantic Bank of New York and a financial analyst at TM Capital Corp., a boutique investment bank focusing on mergers and acquisitions for middle market clients.

Mr. D’Elia is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) and a Chartered Merger & Acquisition Professional (CMAP).  He is a member of the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) and the Middle Market Investment Banking Association (MMIBA).  Mr. D'Elia earned an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Fordham University.

Barbara N. seigfreid

Ms. Seigfreid has experience in working with senior management and key partners. Prior to joining Panthera, Ms. Seigfreid worked as a corporate assistant at Iggys House Realty, Inc, a residential real estate organization based in Chicago. Ms. Seigfreid also has previous experience in retail banking and cash management at Wilmington Savings Fund Society in Wilmington, Delaware.

Ms. Seigfreid is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Laura Moyano

Vice President of Operations

Ms. Moyano has accounting and operations experience in both the healthcare and recruiting industries. Before joining Panthera, Ms. Moyano worked in the U.S. accounting department of Daniels Sharpsmart, a global healthcare manufacturer and service provider. Prior to Daniels Sharpsmart, she served as executive assistant to the president of a boutique accounting and finance recruiting firm.

Ms. Moyano holds a bachelor's degree from Benedictine University.
